Wayfinders meets The Invisibles

A repeat performance from this “two for one group” who last played at the Jazzlab in Jan 2025.  This upcoming performance will see the four musicians in various formats from solo through to the full quartet.  It is also a welcome to Melbourne to pianist Dave McEvoy who has recently relocated from Adelaide to his new home here in Melbourne 

Wayfinders is a completely improvising trio that allows all of the player’s musical experiences to influence the music at hand. The Invisibles is the flip side of the same project, a trio that performs American jazz & roots repertoire in the most simplest fashion they can muster. In a way, the same thing is happening in both trios. This Jazzlab set will test the idea.
