MINORARC

>>
>> Minorarc is a dark classical and cinematic progressive metal project
>> by Ivan Bullock. For over 20 years, he has been an active recording
>> artist and promoter for Australian arts and experimental /
>> underground music. A classically trained violinist and
>> multi-instrumentalist, his modern musical journey began in Tokyo
>> during the early 2000's, before returning to Australia and
>> establishing Minorarc.
>>
>> To translate the project's most recent pieces for live performance,
>> he has joined forces with violinist Eric Shek, bassist Brendan
>> Henriques, and long-term friend and collaborator, Ben Smith.
>> Eric has a history performing for university and community
>> orchestras, and has even traveled overseas for a crash course in
>> Irish fiddle, as well as playing for Melbourne punk rock band We
>> Were Voyagers. He joins Minorarc to fuse his classical roots with
>> the project's heavier experimental nature.
>>
>> Brendan is a music teacher, respected session musician, and
>> established performer who often tours with numerous tribute bands.
>> Alongside roots in gospel music, he records and delves into an array
>> of genres including funk, soul, jazz and beyond.
